Direct Hot Air Generators

Used to transfer heat in industrial processes.

Direct-type generators that mix combustion fumes with process air, equipped with heating units fueled by gaseous and/or liquid fuels. They can also be supplied with electric or hybrid heating units.
Main sectors of use: ceramics, brick manufacturing, mineral and raw material processing, detergents, etc.

There are two types, depending on the burner type. When the burner is of the air-inlet type, we design the generator for full flow-through, meaning that the process air flows across the entire cross-section of the burner body. The design may include an internal lining or, alternatively, an external lining.

When the burner is of the traditional type, we manufacture a generator featuring an outer structure that is concentric with the combustion chamber. Generally, the design includes an inner lining of refractory material where the burner flame can burn.
Between the generator’s outer structure and the combustion chamber, there is a space for the process air to flow through. The process air also serves to “cool” the combustion chamber both internally and externally.

At the outlet of the generator, the combustion gases and process air mix together.
They can be designed with either a horizontal or vertical axis.

Indirect Hot Air Generators

Indirect-type generators with separation between combustion fumes and process air, equipped with heating units fueled by gaseous and/or liquid fuels.
Main sectors of use: food, grain processing.

Technical features

  • Combustion chamber, where the burner flame develops and inverses.

  • A concentric tube bundle integrated with the combustion chamber, through which the combustion products flow internally. The tubes are connected at the opposite end to a circular manifold from which the combustion gases are discharged.

  • The collector has the function of “collecting” all the fumes coming from the tubes, before being expelled from the chimney.

  • The external structure of the heat generator, cylindrical and coaxial with the combustion chamber and shell tube, has the purpose of containing the process air that is heated by crossing both the interior combustion chamber and the entire shell tube.

  • Externally, the generators are insulated with mineral fiber and covered with sheet metal; this covering is typically 100 mm thick.

Electrically Powered Generators

Product Details

The electric generators are designed according to the needs of the customers and the systems in which they are to be installed.

The heat generator is made with a process channel section in which the electric resistors and junction boxes for wiring are housed; the supply is completed with the electric control panel.

The management of the generator is made to have the widest range of modulation, even 0-100 %.

The management of the temperature and the resistors of the generator itself, can be made with PLC.

Hybrid Heating Systems

Product Details

A hybrid version is also available, in which the electric generator can be used in conjunction with our burners or indirect hot-air generators. These solutions are designed according to the client’s specific requirements. They are configured to optimize the use of available electrical energy, allowing the most suitable heating method to be selected for both combustion air and process air.
